garden theft, damage and trespass

Thu May 20, 2010 4:55 pm by lblack

My husband has spent years and much time and money and effort working on the area outside our house, which is our property, and the area adjacent to the woods, and the front of our garden looking out on to the road which is also part of our property. Over the past few months these areas have sustained some vandalism, damage to plants, digging up of tulip bulbs and ultimately today the cutting off …

As you will be aware the Adel Crag Association is in full support of the Adel Community Space Project, and would encourage all residents to take the time to complete the questionnaire and return it to the FREEPOST address at: West North West homes …

Adel Community Space Design Update

Thu Dec 24, 2009 1:55 pm by Francis

Your Committee met with West North West Homes Leeds (WNWHL) early November to discuss some issues of concern raised by local residents followed by a further meeting at the latter of the month without WNWHL present to discuss the plans designed by Groundworks Leeds, kindly funded by WNWHL. Although the plans looked good, there are some major concerns of safety, noise and in addition, some young …

Is this forum still live

Seems like nearly 12 months since anyone posted on here. Is teh Committe still active? Minutes never seem to be up to date and number of members seems to have reduced.

What is happening about that community garden. Understand from a neighbour that there was a public meeting in April May which showed overwhelming support from the community including this Association but I can't find any more …

Report It Campaign

Sun Aug 03, 2008 3:39 pm by George Dent

I recently read a notice in our local shop window with regard to ‘Don’t Just Ignore it – Report it’ campaign. I wonder how many people do this, which could be about dog fouling, potholes, graffiti, litter etc. I have to say I for one am guilty of this and will most certainly report any issues of concern to the persons concerned. Keep up the good work!

Plans for a Community Garden - what is your view?

Fri Nov 07, 2008 1:07 pm by George Dent

I live in the area of Sir George Martin Drive and heard about a proposal for a Community Garden which I have been given to understand is to consist of a Boules Court with picnic table(s) and possibly a small holding for play equipment for young children to be situated on council land opposite Wayland Approach.

My concerns are for the safety of the young, elderly and vulnerable people in our …

Adel Youth Provisions - what is your view?

Fri Oct 03, 2008 8:56 am by Adelian

The last news about provision of youth facilites in Adel seems to be in May from Councillor Anderson. What has happened since then? What are your views on this issue? Should we as a community be giving this more support? What would you like to see provided for the next generations?

Recycle Issue

Sun Aug 03, 2008 2:05 pm by Davina Brown

I receive a lot of junk mail and I am sure many of you do too. I am curious to find out how many of you read junk mail, and if so what do you do with it. Do you just throw it in the black bin or recycle it.
