Search Latest topics | Adel Community Space Design Update Thu Dec 24, 2009 1:55 pm by Francis Your Committee met with West North West Homes Leeds (WNWHL) early November to discuss some issues of concern raised by local residents followed by a further meeting at the latter of the month without WNWHL present to discuss the plans designed by Groundworks Leeds, kindly funded by WNWHL. Although the plans looked good, there are some major concerns of safety, noise and in addition, some young mo... Minutes never seem to be up to date and number of members seems to have reduced. What is happening about that community garden. Understand from a neighbour that there was a public meeting in April May which showed overwhelming support from the community including this Association but I can't find an... [ Full reading ] Comments: 1 Report It Campaign Sun Aug 03, 2008 3:39 pm by George Dent I recently read a notice in our local shop window with regard to ‘Don’t Just Ignore it – Report it’ campaign. I wonder how many people do this, which could be about dog fouling, potholes, graffiti, litter etc. I have to say I for one am guilty of this and will most certainly report any issues of concern to the persons concerned. I find this site and the newsletter more than a little frustrating since its all very well saying let us know...but no contact details; the news regarding meetings is scarce so I am putting in my views here, hoping someone will reply! Fri Oct 03, 2008 8:56 am by Adelian The last news about provision of youth facilites in Adel seems to be in May from Councillor Anderson. What has happened since then? What are your views on this issue? Should we as a community be giving this more support? What would you like to see provided for the next generations? Comments: 2 Recycle Issue Sun Aug 03, 2008 2:05 pm by Davina Brown I receive a lot of junk mail and I am sure many of you do too. I am curious to find out how many of you read junk mail, and if so what do you do with it. Do you just throw it in the black bin or recycle it.
